"ok so im 16 and i kinda had a crush on this guy, and i told my friend that who was good friends with him. i know him, but not all that well. i have a class with him and we talked at this one soccer game at my school. but then my friend was trying to see who he liked but the only way she could find out was if she said she knew someone who him. he said he didnt like anyone at my school, but he really wanted to know who liked him. so i told my friend that it was ok to tell him but to make sure and say that i dont actually like-like him, but that im interested in him. but then she told him it was me and said that i said to tell him that i was intersted, i mean, it sounded really creepy and i hate that she said i told her to say that but anyways he replies and asked what she meant by interested, so she said that i didnt know him that well but i would like to, and then he replies and says he likes someone from another school. im so embarrassed and i have to see him in class, i can't even look at him, and we barely talked before so he probably thinks im so weird! so my question is how can i make the situation less awkward and how can i get over this embarrassment! ?"

Don’t be embarrassed, recently I told this guy that I have known for ages that I liked him, I was so scared that everyone would mock me for it, but the best thing I did was every morning I was worried I looked in the mirror and said “You don’t need to worry about this. You have wonderful friends.” It helped. Ok, basically to make the situation less awkward, don’t think of it as an awkward situation! Just act normally, honestly, that’s the best thing you can do xxx
