Make me understand

1. Look at yourself. You’re a mess. You can barely see your face under those tears. You’re a mess. But, you’re a beautiful mess. You need to look through those tears and see how beautiful you are. Every single thing about you is so beautiful I can’t even begin to describe it. If anybody, it doesn’t matter who they are, makes you feel like you are anything less than absolutely beautiful, you need to laugh in their face because everything they ever said was and is a lie. Look through those insecurities and see how utterly beautiful you are. Sure, you can read all those other posts about being beautiful and not believe them, but this post, this is coming from a girl, that has hated everything possible about herself. Now? I still hate everything. But I’m getting better. Every morning, I am going to look at myself and say, ‘I am beautiful, I have no reason to cry’. Don’t believe it helps? Well, promise me one thing, you’ll try it, just for a week, then tell me. 

   Love yourself. Love other people. You are beautiful, no-one should ever make you feel like you aren’t.
